Autism wasn't in the DSM until 1980 and level 1 autism (known then as Aspergers) not until 1994. It wasn't until much later that autism was defined as a spectrum.

If you grew up before then you usually went undiagnosed because there was no criteria with which to be diagnosed.

Tomorrow is going to be a shitty day for many autistic people. The report on itself is bad, but so is the language we're going to see officials use to describe autism.

Port numbers came in yesterday and we are down ~30% in ships across the board. If trump ends the tariffs today, we still have ~5 weeks of shortages coming. This will only be one of them as most syringes and a large portion of medical supplies are made in India.

Here's a story no one is talking abt.
Out of the 340+mill folks in the U.S., 38.4mill have type 2 Diabetes. 8.4mill of those take insulin.
Roughly 20% of insulin users wear an insulin pump, 15% use insulin pens, & less than 1% use jet injectors.

I use vials & syringes.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.

The tariffs are hardly a one-man operation: Remember that Congress — not the president — has ultimate power over this issue, including the ability to revoke the tariffs if it wants to. Trump's plan is proceeding because a critical mass of his party supports (or accepts) it.
