The difference is one of those is more reprehensible than the other. It's like saying stealing 10m$ is worse than stealing 5m$. Of course it's "worse", but she is implying that because one is worse the other is "OK". Neither is anywhere near to OK.

15 yo is NOT "barely legal". They are still speaking about children. Yes, there is a difference between 5 & 15. But certainly not anywhere near enough difference to make it remotely OK.

We know that the 2 thirteen yo girls in Florida retracted their stories only after trump threatened to harm their families. I think it's reasonably safe to assume Virginia made that statement under similar duress.
