OK, to be fair I haven't watched it. Yet. I read a synopsis of it on Wikipedia and the only politics I find leaping out at me is a pretty harsh criticism of Marsha Blackburn. I'm open to hearing about subtext, but so far I haven't seen it.

Not only did they vote for it, they KNEW they were voting for it. Nothing the fascists have done since being elected is a surprise. They told us they were going to do all this. No excuses. Unless you really want to admit to everyone that you thought it would all happen to somebody else.

Fair bargaining and fair taxation are still, for now, the preferred options. It would be wise for the wealthy to remember these are not the only choices.
