It’s remarkable how much I’m still aching from Saturday’s parkrun (legs, abs(?!)). The moral of the story is - it is a bad idea to stop running for 4.5 months, and then proceed to do some half-arsed stretches on a start line before jumping straight in with a full gas effort for 5K 🥶

After 300kms this weekend, I just need to log an extra 110miles to hit 10,000kms of bike distance for 2025. Not a lot really for an audaxer but a huge amount for me!
