I'm looking for UK trans people/enby/gender non-conforming people to share stories of violence, physical/verbal abuse harassment they have received because of their gender identity/sexuality.

Anonymity assured.

Our last outing this festival is to see NGSOC's production of Pirates of Penzance. Excellent production with lots of energy.

The boy child is making his debut with the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival today. He's playing Captain Corcoran in the youth production of HMS Pinafore. He's exactly the same age I was when I attended the very first festival back in 1994.

My mum's cat. A rescue whose original owner was a young, single man. No guesses as to why she made a beeline for the takeaway pizzas, although her favourite is definitely KFC. Not that she's fed takeaway now she lives with mum.

Final conservatoire open day before applications in July. Feel like I've been on a grand tour of Great Britain. I will say that this place is definitely my favourite, but I'm not the one applying.

In Glasgow for the RCS open day tomorrow. Another chance for a cheeky trip to the theatre, this time to see @scottishopera.bsky.social excellent production of Trial by Jury directed by John Savournin. Wow! The setting and energy was immense and gives hope that G&S has a strong future.

In London for the RCM open day tomorrow. The boy and I had a cheeky visit to our favourite second hand music bookshop. It would have been rude not to. You can never have too many music books 😉

The boy child is back at the Proms this year with his Hallé family. I saw this concert in January at the Bridgewater Hall, with different soloists. It was spectacular. Looking forward to seeing it again 💗
🎉 We're so excited to be part of BBC Proms 2025, performing Mahler's EPIC Second Symphony on Sat 2 August!

A huge turnout at Sheffield's trans rights rally, with around a thousand people gathered outside the Town Hall to protest the Supreme Court ruling.

This is my youth theatre group. All of our members are respected, valued and supported. I will tirelessly fight for their rights. I experienced, first hand, the damage that Section 28 did in the 1980's when a whole group of my friends simply weren't allowed to exist. This generation deserves better.
Here at Utopia Unlimited we don’t get involved in politics, however yesterday’s supreme court ruling on the definition of a woman impacts all of us. We work hard to create a safe, inclusive space for all of our members and will continue to do so.

Listening to the news on BBC Radio 2 and they've just described "Sex Matters" as a human rights charity. You can't be a human rights charity if your sole purpose is to remove the rights of an entire group of human beings. You're a right wing pressure group and nothing else.

The Supreme Court ignored trans voices, harming trans people – and the fairness of its ruling.

As a cis woman, my heart is breaking after today's supreme court ruling. I stand shoulder to shoulder with the trans community and know that today's decision has made the world far less safe for us all. Trans rights are human rights. 🏳️‍⚧️

My son turns 18 on 27th April. How is he celebrating this landmark birthday? By singing with his friends in the Hallé Youth Choir. Doesn't want a party, but he's really excited to be taking part in this chamber concert. It will be an excellent concert, Hallé Youth Choir are sounding amazing!
