I'm the secretary for my local democrats club. Before the election we had 10-20 members attend each monthly meeting. Tonight was the first since the election and we had over 80 people come. It was a nice outcome to a terrible situation.

I'm over here writing a fantasy story using my polycule as inspiration for characters and our love story as fodder for the plot. It's full of imagery and symbolism that I feel represent the people I adore.

Tennessee SG just said trans people "want a constitutional right to engage in non-conforming behavior" and that's really important because that argument wants to overturn the sex stereotyping precedents that ban laws from, say, requiring women to wear skirts.

Is gender identity social shorthand for intrinsic sense of self? How did the binary gender expression options of man and woman become used to describe an internal experience? I mull over this vocabulary reuse and wonder which is the egg and which the hen.

Noticing a substantial increase in right wing trolls on the platform. I’m glad the platform is growing and is definitely better than Twitter, but if it doesn’t get control of the hate content, it will be no better.
