Part of being a statesman in a democracy is keeping one’s composure working to find common ground. Instead we have a childish, overreactive dictator.

You should not only return your cart to the store, you should take two with you. Exceptions for people with small children or people with disabilities.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

I love taking medical advice from a man who can’t pronounce acetaminophen
As Trump ties Tylenol to autism, doctors raise alarms
U.S. officials will issue a warning label on Tylenol for those who are pregnant, a move that contradicts the guidance from the major medical societies.

I am fully in support of shaming Tesla owners and protesting dealerships. But why are we so reluctant to shame X users and companies that use X?

You’ve really shown the world what security means to you, by using an unsecured app to discuss your nefarious plot to kill people to “send a message”. Fuck off, you pathetic couch fucker.
REPORTER: The president said today, 'We have to have Greenland.' By being here today, are you also conveying that message?

JD VANCE: We can't just ignore the president's desires ... this island is not safe.

The outrage shouldn’t only be about a NatSec adviser being an incompetent boob or the SecDef put classified info on a commercial chat app.

The outrage is they’re ALL doing it to avoid creating a record of their deliberations & putting it out of reach of FOIA, Congress & Nat archives.

If an Army private accidentally texted the details of a classified military operation to a reporter, let alone transmitted any classified information to anyone who was unauthorized over an unsecured device, they’d be charged and likely spend time in Leavenworth.

But it’s Hegseth, so probably not.
