Zen and the Art of Things Not Zen.
Whenever I am on someone else’s device I’m horrified at what I see on the internet.

A Raspberry Pi + PiHole/PiVPN has been an absolute game changer on our network.

Have an automation to auto connect to my in-home VPN whenever I leave my own WiFi. 🤓

In the years I’ve lived down here, I’ve not seen enforcement action taken, tickets written / left on windshields, nor it ever empty.

It just be a well known spot to contravene all the permit parking in the area.

Given it blocks views outside of the intersection, I ask: When will this be enforced?

I’m amazed at how bad mine get after cooking, especially with oil and higher temps.

Then I put two and two together and it reminds me I should clean my flat surfaces sitting above the level again because … egads.

It’s the same vein as “DEATH COFFEE”, “ALPHA WOLF JEANS”, or anything similar that plays into an idea of wannabe tough person insecurity for people who just really needed to be hugged more as a kid.

From the article,

"So far I see no difference in the levels of traffic, …”

IT HAS BEEN LESS THAN THREE WEEKS.

If it was a car ban, obviously you’d see immediate behavior change.

Same attitude of whinging that Wales had for 20mph. Now look at it.

If you made that threat towards someone online, doesn’t the online safety bill sorta mean you could be prosecuted for inciting violence?

Ironic much?

Watching this with great interest!

Unsafe parking is rife throughout Leith.

While parking continues to get squeezed with removal of spaces and addition of Permit Zones - it’s no excuse to just plop one’s vehicle anywhere they choose at the detriment to the many.

What’s amazing is you can see this VERY situation play out - but in a different manner within the city.

Induced demand is also working with bicycles: Look at how much ridership has risen over the past few years in Edinburgh with the creation of new bike lanes.

Literally happening before our eyes.
