Living the dream on a lakeshore up in North Central Alberta.

Definitely left of center in a very very right (yet so very wrong) world!

Opinions are my own. Facts speak for themselves.

And the list goes on…

It does matter to us, very much, for many real reasons.
It's a tragedy.

For years I have been saying that somehow we need to figure out a cure for the Dunning Kruger Effect!

What is the best way to do it in a world like we are seeing today? Serious question.

1) provide safe, permanent housing;
2) allow smoking within supervised consumption sites;
3) offer specialized care for people who use methamphetamine;
4) provide counselling and support for complicated grief.

It really is! It’s fragile right now though - we can’t let hate break us.

I kind of wish, just this one time because I think it’s wrong, that the Feds could do to Smith what Smith has done to Alberta municipalities. You know, where the province can step in and remove elected officials from council?

I fear the light at the end of Alberta’s tunnel IS a train.

I prefer a Prime Minister who is a kind, compassionate person. Like Trudeau.

You can tell a lot about a person by how they speak to others. These stills are from a recent press conference. Look at those eyes, and condescending expressions, as PP speaks to reporters.

This is a cruel man.

“eight men and women who rely on the society's emergency shelter rushed in to help within seconds of the blast.”

While the province takes an approach to homelessness that’s wholly insufficient, these vulnerable Albertans saved lives.

Closures of consumption sites in other cities in AB have resulted in increased death rates. We will see the same here.

I wish we could just stop the world and get off for a bit. I can’t take this ridiculousness anymore and there is nowhere to run.
Premier of Alberta sat down for a conversation with very serious “entertainer” Ezra Levant after his recent arrest for breaching the peace to talk about patrolling the border with sheriffs and drones.

Not a word of that was satire.
