Being able to access links to outside content easily is the number one reason why I dont think Bluesky is an echo chamber. If I want to know what the crackpots and bots are saying, I can always log back into Twitter.
Ooh, @hankgreen.bsky.social effectively articulates the frustration I have with Twitter and Threads downranking anything that would take a user off their site.
Bluesky and Mastodon don’t do that and I’m so happy they don’t.

I switched from Goodreads to StoryGraph this week and I really like their book recommendation survey. You can specify which topics you're not in the mood for and/or never want to read about, as well as books you want the "vibe" of, etc, and it recommends some cool ones!
