Sex work is a women's rights issue, a queer and trans issue, a labor rights issue, a civil rights issue, a disability issue, an immigration issue, the list goes on. All of this is connected, but none of these other movements mention us. Ever.

Despite all the struggles I deal with when it comes to being queer and trans and disabled and working class and all of that, 99% of my breakdowns have been because I rarely see anyone who isn't a sex worker show up for sex worker rights. The silence is deafening and it's breaking me.

Glasses, hands still in pocket, replies calmly. PINK: So how many trans kids would you sacrifice to prevent one hypothetical non-trans kid being forced into delayed puberty? GLASSES: All of them. PANEL 4 Pink has now turned all the way around, looking a bit horrified, and holding her palms up in a “let me just explain this” gesture. Glasses has stopped walking, has folded her arms, and has raised her voice, with an angry expression. PINK: I don’t think you understand – we could be talking about a hundred thousand- GLASSES: I said ALL of them!

Something nice for a change. For the first time in actual years, the 7 day rolling average of covid deaths in this country is 0, and has been since Christmas. That's not the whole story, but I thought I'd see what the current state of spicy cough is. Still not ideal, but much better than I expected.
