So, a 50 mortgage for a median priced house would drop from approximately $2,000 for 30 years to $1,800 for 50 years. But, you would pay an extra $420,000 during those last 20 years versus $72,000 more you would pay over the 1st 30 years. This is so Republican that benefits mortgage companies!
