I remember being told that it would take 193 years to reach legal limits for nitrogen dioxide.
I decided this was unacceptable.
Thanks to the bold policies we put in place, we've managed to do it in nine years - 184 years earlier than expected.

This is an astonishingly good news story, it will bring enormous health benefits, it will be noted by historians of london in centuries to come. But it will change no one’s vote, he will get no credit. More people will be talking about trans toilet habits at the next election.

Chichester say he was ‘playing the sport that he loved’
The Chichester City forward Billy Vigar has died at the age of 21 after sustaining a “significant brain injury” in a game last Saturday. The former Arsenal player was injured in an Isthmian League match at Wingate & Finchley, leading to its abandonment after 13 minutes.
Chichester said in a statement: “After sustaining a significant brain injury last Saturday, Billy Vigar was put in an induced coma. On Tuesday he needed an operation to aid any chances of recovery. Although this helped, the injury proved to much for him and he passed away on Thursday morning.” Continue reading...

Coming back from the match in a taxi Labi Siffre song came on and it reminded me of the 60’s and 70’s when we fought for equality for black people which made me very sad thinking how we are today about people skin colour or religion and we are going backwards I’m old now I will still keep fighting
