I want to take a moment to thank the entire Elias Law Group team who worked on the Texas redistricting case as well as our fearless clients. The thirteen Black and Latino voters we represented stood up to challenge Texas's unprecedented mid-decade redistricting. We all ow them a debt of gratitude.

People are rising up and teaching each other how to resist and fight back, and it’s working.

And yeah, we’re seeing a whole lot of stupid ICE agents stumbling around like they own the place.

You cannot occupy a city and expect silence. The people who live there always answer back.

You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

SCOTUS conservative majority appears inclined to weaken the Voting Rights Act's Section 2 protections against racial discrimination. This could spark a new wave of congressional redistricting, especially in the South that is racially polarized, giving the GOP a big boost. www.npr.org/2025/11/18/n...
Redistricting deadlines for the midterms loom as states wait for a Supreme Court ruling
Depending on the timing, a Supreme Court ruling that weakens Voting Rights Act protections against racial discrimination may lead to more states redrawing congressional maps before the 2026 midterms.
