During early #WW2 my grandfather commanded the fire fighters at White Waltham airfield. He is pictured sitting in the firetruck in 1941. He was ATA. As kids we played on the airfield as we lived nearby and I knew every inch of it like the back of my hand. Thankfully I have his memorabilia #ATA

I recently acquired this old aluminium mug which was used by a member of the French Resistance whilst serving with a maquis in SW France.If you look closely you can see some engravings he did whilst spending time hidden in the hills, he was 19 at the time.
