Well, I did it. I am now set up to receive weekly Korean tutoring sessions with Dohee 도 ㅜㅣ. I don't yet know how to combine the ㅜ and the ㅣ to form the compound character yet. I'm rather nervous but Dohee is very patient and sweet.

Do others think the way I do? Distressed is stress on steroids, ready to pull your hair out. dis tressed (tresses are locks of hair). I explain bc I use words that make people accuse me of showing off. But I don't know the cost of words, the "25c" words aren't labeled as such

Today is a mixed bag, full of emotions nonetheless. My friend in Ukraine has recovered enough from her husband's death on the front lines last spring that she wants to restart our weekly chats. Beyond excited. OTOH, CCleaner and gmail are misbehaving terribly. I'm about ready to be dis tressed
The school I was researching is in California (on the other side of the country 3K miles away). Googling led me to Preply, and I have selected a tutor for $10/class. I can afford $40/month. Feeling rather proud of myself

I wasn't seeing the people I follow in my feed. Changed from discover to follow which helped but nowhere near enough. Someone suggested I hit the notification bell. Now I'm seeing every comment they make even on other people's posts. Isn't there a middle ground somewhere?

I woke up this morning feeling normal. It was so strange. I could grab my ankles and hamstring stretch. As I washed my face I noticed I have jaw definition! I put on some makeup because I’m due for my annual profile pic update. Depending on the response I may wash my face and try again.

My attempts to have those I follow in my feed are still being thwarted. So, I just spent the last 3 hours muting accounts I don't follow and hiding their posts. Let's see how it is tomorrow. If this doesn't work, next step is blocking those accounts. Maybe then BlueSky's algorithm will understand

I’m a little freaked out rn. I started sneezing the past week, so did my cat. I noticed some eczema on both me and my cat recently. My cat has asthma, like me, & my Gianni before. Why do my cats’ symptoms match mine? Are they taking some of my emotional repercussions to help me? Or is it sympathy?

Why is my feed filled with people I don't know and there are none of the people I follow? I don't like this. The last 30 posts Bluesky showed me were all from accounts I don't follow. To see what my peeps are posting I have to go to their page. #why-I-left-facebook
