I haven't seen any posts about Brock Turner in a while, but I hear he now uses his middle name only due to the fallout of him raping an unconscious girl behind a dumpster on a college campus. That girl's life is ruined, so his should be too.

Figured out what I was doing wrong with the cookies. On the left are 4 cookies made with room temperature dough. The 9 on the right were made from refrigerated dough. I’m finally starting to remember what I’m doing.

Top cookie is with extra gf flour, bottom cookie is extra oatmeal. I’m think extra oatmeal is the way to go. My daughter will be here soon to take me for food then art class so I’ll mix the extra oats in the refrigerate the dough until I have time to bake again. I’m so happy I get to share them!

First test cookie turned out much better than I expected. It needs either a little more flour or a little more oatmeal, not sure which will give me the consistency I’m looking for so next is a sample of both. Air fryer on bake @375 degrees F for 12 minutes

My first attempt at making kimchi. It’s saltier than I expected. I guess next time I should rinse the brined seafood (I couldn’t deal with the thought of mincing squid, so I used brined krill). The level of heat is perfect though.

So, after several days I hope never to repeat, I had a good day today. I tapped (and cried tons), I played with my guitar and also broke out my watercolors. It isn’t great (I’m no Rembrandt), but it was fun. And I have the opening 2 bars to Jannabi’s “Thought on an Autumn Night” memorized

This is my 20 year old tortie cat that I rescued 10 years ago. Yvette Miu Miu is kind and patient albeit a bit clingy.

I got my used cat 10 years ago when she was just turning 10. Yvette is now 20 and my favorite thing in the whole world, even if she does have maintenance issues. I wouldn't trade her in for anything.
