This is Gary Lucks speaking about the importance of CA Prop 50, the initiative that pushes back at Texas' illegal gerrymander this November. You don't have to live in CA to help. And if you DO live in CA, you really should find a way to be active and be part of the solution.
We can’t let MAGA extremists rig our democracy. California’s Prop 50 is the most important off-year election. Vote YES to fight gerrymandering & protect the House in 2026. Register, vote early, take action!

If the GOP bill passes, a lot of folks who have grandma in a nursing home will need to take her back home. Do voters across the rural states this will impact the most understand that?

Jingoism, at its core, is an overly aggressive form of patriotism that often leads to a blind belief in the superiority of one's own country and a willingness to use force to achieve national goals. This can manifest in various ways, including supporting wars, demonizing other countries-look this up

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

Hey swing voters - when the Harris/Walz campaign cautioned that Trump was unhinged, this was what they meant.

Trump inherited $800M from a racist sociopathic father. Trump 2.0 inherited a great post-pandemic economy from Biden - the envy of the free world.

Trump squandered the first inheritance, with banks and contractors holding the bag. He's doing the same to all of America now.

"Flood the zone" is ultimately unsustainable for Trump. Don't chase every outrage. Focus on the big stuff, and keep messaging he's hurting the economy, and American families. They want you screaming about the "Gulf of America" while they cut off SNAP for poor kids.

Trump’s ‘Flood the Zone’ Strategy Leaves Opponents Gasping in Outrage
A deliberate effort by the president and his team to roll out an unceasing flow of initiatives has knocked his rivals off balance in the first days of the new administration.

Earlier today, Trump said that the water has now begun flowing in California. He added that he'll continue to increase the flow in coming days.
I live in California. Absolutely nobody I know has any idea what he's talking about or even cares.

If your spouse needs a safe word with her friends to protect herself from you, you should be in therapy.

Or in prison.

Uncertainty makes us uncomfortable. Because we want clarity. But let's realize now that Trump 2.0 is designed to peddle chaos and induce dread so as to prevent us from achieving greater clarity. * If we can stay aware of the fact that that’s their design - then that alone, will add some clarity. *
