I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.
Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

I’m paid off but, let’s do this!!! It’s impossible to start off in that much debt. Yes, I get that we took out the loans but’s look up compound interest and that’s what we get. I gave the Fed government tens of thousands in interest and I borrowed less than 20 grand total. It’s a trap.
