The way this guy always has a twinkling smile as he's talking on some news show or other about the most dystopian hellscape imaginable. Oh haha, those silly "new kids out of college" thinking they might someday get to have a job and eat food.
Kevin Hassett: "I think there could be a little bit of an almost quiet time in the labor market, because firms are finding that AI is making their workers so productive that they don't necessarily have to hire the new kids out of college and so on."

Expanding on this:
For decades, conservatives have been telling everyone that “politics” is bad and we need to “keep politics out” of daily life.

First, that’s wrong. When average people avoid politics, billionaires win. (They don‘t stop doing politics. And what beats them is mass engagement.)

Conservative, pro-Trump politics are not “no politics”!

Senator Ted Cruz posted a dramatic video of LAPD cars on fire with the caption “this… is… not… peaceful.” What he didn’t mention? The footage was from 2020, not 2025. His post on X falsely implied it was current, part of a broader effort to spread lies and manufacture a crisis.

This has always been the GOP's strategy:

1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves.

2) Explode the deficit.

3) Demand cuts to vital programs that help millions.

4) Repeat.

They're trying to get away with it again.
