cannot agree with you more. people have this idea that there's a kind of courage is just saying that can do all of this easily. he can't. each step requires a lot of people to do things. and that's complicated. greasing the skids for him is doing his work for him.

Kamala Harris did not engage in overt identity politics.
Donald Trump did. It probably helped him.
And yet, pundits like Weiss, Stephens & Dowd treat identity politics *only* as a failed Dem tactic.
