I will not support the Republican bill that’s on the Senate floor because it fails to do anything of substance to fix America’s healthcare crisis.

You don’t lead people by “meeting them where they are.” You need to meet them NEAR where they are, then PULL them in the right direction. For example, Democrats can’t be a Working People party if they don’t advocate for a living wage. Get in front! Lead!
The job of a good message isn't to say what is popular. The job of a good message is to make popular what we need said.
MAGA and Madison Avenue have known and exploited this. But it also very much applies to campaigns for good.

GOP was not a major party before the Civil War. #FusionVoting made them a major party. We can use Fusion Voting to make GOP a third party again.
History lesson: Throughout the 1800s, the two major parties – first the Democrats and the Whigs, and then after the Civil War the Democrats and the Republicans – shared the political stage with a host of smaller parties. centerforballotfreedom.org/fusion-in-am...

I don't want a multi-party system because I think it'd particularly move outcomes leftward. I just want my nice little center-right market liberal party that'd get its 5 or 10% and have a seat at the table, rather than every election a two-way coin toss with fascists who want to destroy democracy.

Democrats are right to refuse to go along. Republicans are in charge of the House and this is on them.
Even if you disregard parties, the Speaker is the one personally and directly in charge of negotiating and finding the proposal that 60 reps will vote for.
Literally, Speaker, you had one job!

Most plastic items are too small for recyclers to bother sorting and processing, or they're assembled in such a way that it's less expensive to just make new plastic.
