On Nov. 28, a Russian attack lasting more than 10 hours struck Ukrainian cities, with Kyiv as the main target. The Kyiv Independent’s Nick Allard and Tania Myronyshena spent the night with a Kyiv family sheltering in a parking garage with their three children.

Ok online detectives, we need your help. A visitor recently passed on these images of the Endeavour replica taken by her father. We think the photos were taken in NZ in 1996, but we are not sure which port. Can anyone help identify the location or share memories from that voyage?

The US record on protecting Afghans who helped our military in that war has been pretty weak to begin with, but now we are deporting them to a very credible risk of death.
Why would any other allies on the ground work with the US military in the future?

Embarrassing stuff
"A former Afghan National Army soldier in the process of applying for asylum in the U.S. was arrested last month by federal immigration agents at his Houston-area home, according to his attorney, who said the man and most of his family are being threatened with deportation."

Like, I realize the media is in the midst of talking about the 'failure' to talk about how old Biden was, a thing every voter seems to have known about by the time he dropped out.

But maybe we should talk about the failure to inform voters on what Trump's actual promised policies would be?

Cato has published my comprehensive review of the ~240 Venezuelans the US government renditioned 2 months ago to Salvador’s notorious prison. We identified FIFTY who came legally, never violated any immigration law, but are imprisoned at the US government’s request and at US taxpayer expense.

We made this website to tell our story:

I get the frustration, but substantively these are the most encouraging and valuable stories around right now. I want to read about people realizing Trump is bad every day. This is an obviously good thing that is happening and we need to make it happen more.
People’s reactions to these stories tend to be of the leopards-eating-faces variety but this is a great piece of reporting in part about how voters very disconnected from politics make their choices.
