In a moment like this, when tensions are high, part of the job of the president is to remind us of the ties that bind us together.

Maybe getting numbers wrong is a firing offence after all?
a very confused Trump mixes up jobs and dollars: "Right after the election, she had an $800,000 or $900,000 massive reduction."

Two Republican judges on the North Carolina Court of Appeals just effectively overturned Justice Allison Riggs' victory over Jefferson Griffin by retroactively nullifying thousands of lawful votes. A massive and outrageous blow to democracy.
Story to come. The topline: If this holds, this would almost assuredly result in an overturned election, as Griffin trails by 734 votes and many of these contested ballots are disproportionately Democrats over Republicans. #ncpol

I have a theory that Trump wrote a paper in business school about how tariffs are good for a national economy, got a bad grade because that argument is wrong (maybe from a woman professor), and is spending the rest of his life trying to prove he was right.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

The work of CFPB is wildly popular with Americans. You know the people who don’t like it? Firms trying to rip off and scam Americans. In case you are wondering who the Trump admin is serving….
New — CFPB employees received an ominous email from Russell Vought a few minutes ago.

“Employees should stand down from performing any work task.”

NEW: My staff just got ahold of this memo from House Budget Committee Republicans. It's lengthy and hard to digest but it tells us exactly how Republicans plan to sell out the American people for another round of tax cuts to the rich. We're breaking down the highlights as we go:
