Former PBO on Canada's fiscal situation: "If you look at the numbers right now, a baseline deficit of a little over 2%, that's a third of what it is in the US and UK, and it's well below the OECD average. If you look at our debt-to-GDP ratio, it will be the lowest of the G7. ... We're sustainable."

A sad but worthwhile read. We have a long way to go before there’s true heartfelt reconciliation.
I spent 12 years working with the survivors of St. Anne's residential school in their attempt to get justice. The government spent millions fighting people who could barely afford the bus ride to the hearings.
There is no reconciliation without justice for St. Anne's.
