I mean yeah. I’d rather be pranked than scammed. But a prank is something that everyone, including the target, can laugh at when the jig is up. I love Nathan Fielder’s work, but the target is never let in on the joke. People deserve empathy even if they do something dumb, especially children.

Tbf from the episode I watched most of the contestants were very young (one girl was 15). Its pretty ruthless to blame children for being naive.
