This Republican proposal to decimate SNAP will make groceries more expensive for more than 100,000 Bostonians. It’s an unacceptable attack on working families.
The House Ag bill released tonight would take away or cut #SNAP food benefits for millions of low-income people struggling to afford groceries—families w/ children, seniors, ppl w/ disabilities, veterans & workers in low-wage jobs.

We are aware and concerned about the impacts of the recent closure of the Roxbury and Dorchester locations of the Daily Table, whose unique model of providing affordable groceries played an important role in preventing food insecurity and reducing food waste. Short thread:
