I work in education in Florida. Yikes.
This commercial is really old, but I like to watch it when I'm feeling down on America and need a boost.

Also, filmed a few miles from me in Ybor City, Tampa.

And, as an adult wrestling fan I hate John's current storyline but it's nice to see this version of him.

One of the most interesting parallels in American life right now is WWE bending over backwards for the Saudis and Trump administration and watching their fans get gradually more uneasy with it, while AEW just grinds away and slowly grows as their talent wears Abolish ICE shirts on cable TV.
Top 3 topics on /r/SquaredCircle right now:

"WWE’s late-stage capitalist hellscape is just a sign of the times"

"Early-arriving WWE Night of Champions production employees stuck at Qatar airport"

"AEW wrestlers met some adorable kittens from the The Humane Society ahead of Collision in Kent, WA"

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

Rick Scott accusing people of Medicare fraud is something else, man.
BREAM: Is there an acknowledgement that there will be people, potentially millions of them, transitioned off healthcare programs?

RICK SCOTT: The only way you're gonna get of the program is if you way you do not want to work.

Keep downplaying the protests at your own peril.

Keep threatening Americans.

The protests will only get bigger.

Trump is hated.

Musk is hated.

The political winds have shifted.

People are fed up.

This is only the beginning.

I've been hiding from my retirement accounts. I'm 38. I have, at least, 20 years left of work and investment left, so I feel I can make corrections and recover. I felt very sad a few days ago when my coworker in her mid-sixties asked me what I thought she should do about her retirement funds.

American war planning usually takes place in highly secure facilities. But the Trump administration planned its strikes on the Houthis using a group chat—and accidentally included The Atlantic’s editor in chief, @jeffreygoldberg.bsky.social. theatln.tc/AmsjsuT6

As Trump tries to dismantle the Department of Education, remember that his plan to cut the corporate tax rate to 15% would give the 100 largest corporations a tax cut larger than the entire department's K-12 budget.

Really think about how twisted this all is.

Honestly, I can't stop thinking about how effective a half empty chamber would have been in pictures when Trump gave his speech. I don't understand why the Democrats were even present. It hurts his feelings. Don't go.

Donald Trump. Pete Hegseth. RFK Jr. Elon Musk. Matt Gaetz.

What do they all have in common—besides sexual misconduct allegations?

The young men who idolize them.

A brutal takedown of the alt-right pipeline, and the men who fail to step up.
Not All Men.
But, definitely these five...

🆕 Search for U.S. private schools and and compare their demographics to public school districts!

It is not surprising to see these schools are often whiter than their surrounding districts, but the extent to which some of them are is shocking.

Ann Telnaes resigned after the Washington Post editorial page killed her cartoon. It’s worth a share.

Big Tech executives are bending the knee to Donald Trump and it’s no surprise why: Billionaires like Jeff Bezos like paying a lower tax rate than a public school teacher.
