As a proud workplace introvert I never thought I’d be advising my coworkers they need to speak up more in meetings but it’s true. You have to make yourself heard, your work may speak for itself but it won’t earn you any credit towards advancement if you don’t speak with it.

Now why schedule a 30 minute meeting, spend the first 20 having a side conversation then put me on the spot to summarize an hour worth of info in two minutes for discussion. Where is the sense in that.

Elon fucked up that app no doubt but one other thing that has turned it into a bastardized version of itself: people monetizing outrage and clout.
When daily arguments and "battles" are the primary fuel of the podcast/content ecosystem there is no incentive to not generate more outrage and anger.
