IDK maybe it’s because I remember the flying experience before 9-11 but nothing about the airport is relaxing to me.
Even with drinks and decent food.

This is me with Ohare. Most folks prefer Midway but I avoid that place like the plague.
I feel like I have a VERY different experience with Dulles, lol. I love that airport and have no problems. It is my first option every time.

I’m parking 30 min before boarding. 15 min from car to shuttle to the airport. 10 min to clear security. 5 min to walk to the gate, hit bathroom, walk straight on the plane with my group.
Build in another 5 min if it’s IAD for the train/shuttle.
