I’m mad as hell about this. My husband is battling stage 4 metastatic cancer. I worked in higher ed research fundraising for scientists. These people don’t waste money. They work tirelessly to search for cures. NCI layoffs are devastating for any cancer patient and should disturb everyone=eugenics

I’m so sorry for your loss. Yes, people do think that there is some miracle cure for everything.

Thank you. Its pretty awful that people that believe this BS have been put in charge.

They do but they tell you to take Fenben and Ivermectin. My husband has stage four metastatic cancer and I can’t tell you the number of republican family telling him to take these dewormers. They watched a YouTube that made them experts. They vilify scientists, doctors and pharma.

Underinsured can be as harmful as uninsured. Too many of my patients fighting cancer also have to fight their insurance company. Grateful for Cost Plus drugs making therapies like Abiraterone Acetate for prostate cancer more affordable.

Your friend deserves better. My hubs is stage 4 and we just got Covid. No one masks to protect him including his oncologist. We hardly leave the house. No idea how we got it. We mask everywhere. They were so concerned when he got it they have been giving him redemsivir via Iv for 3 days.

I really like “masks useless”. Beyond my never getting covid despite intubating covid patients, pre vaccine no less, we made a whole strain of flu fucking disappear from the earth, inadvertantly, by masking.

It went extinct.

But yeah. Tell me masks don’t do anything…

Oh FFS, I am in Rochester and my husband is very immune compromised. It’s like we went back to the dark ages. It should be mandatory for all school age children unless they have allergy.

No it shouldn’t. I struggle to understand how I can be related or picked them as friends. Thanks for being a kind and caring person.

My husband has stage four cancer and our outings to any where public are health care facilities. We are usually the only masked people. We don’t dine in and we pay for food delivery or curbside. Our family and friends won’t mask either. It’s really messed up.
