If I am reading this correctly, the idiot is going to try to charge Maduro in federal court (SDNY)?

I am NAL but really? This seems a catastrophically stupid plan.

Isn’t the judge just going ask, “you did what?!” when they describe the illegal interdiction and throw out the phony charges.

For the record, Science Magazine is showing how it’s done, unlike the medical journals like JAMA and NEJM that have served as stenographers for MAHA.

They shouldn’t enjoy publication in these journals because of their authority or position. Their view should reflect the data and evidence.

Ohio has our first pediatric #flu death of the season-- unvaccinated 16 year old, previously healthy.

No child should die of this. Vaccination isn't perfect, but it's the best protection.

It’s not just the US, everywhere you go when it’s a car vs pedestrian somehow the pedestrian is at fault.

Here the pedestrian “collided” with a cop car and died. They make it sound like the car was holding still.

These cops killed a person with their car. What is their defect?
Newspapers when drivers KILL pedestrians:
1: X died after coming into contact with a car
2: X died after a collision with a car
3: X died after being struck by a car

Newspapers when people die from floods, weather, and so on:
1: X killed by
2: Y killed X

I like how they cut out the ine positive thing Holden Thoro had to say about AI in an editorial that boils down to “keep this shit iut of our magazine.”

Go Science!
In the first #ScienceEditorial of 2026, H. Holden Thorp focuses on #AI, discussing how it “will allow the scientific community to do more if it picks the right ways to use it.” He revisits the journals’ policies and approaches related to AI.

This is great but they’re gonna keep trying against CFPB. It more than anything else represents a threat to the right wing media ecosystem which is funded by grift.

So what kind of Christmas spirits visit and make you attack a bunchnof countries? This is some kind of inverse Christmas carol where he got visited by like, Hellraiser, Stephen Miller, and that pea soup puking demon from the Exorcist.

New, from me: The NYT reporter who specializes in profiles of beleaguered right-wingers on campus went to New College...and found out that things were going ok!

So let me explain some pretty massive errors of omission: 🧵

Watching the “Coverup” doc on Sy Hersh on Netflix and damn, thr NYT has always sucked in the exact same way. It’s just amazing. His critique is delivered without any polemic insult, he just described what they did - serve as stenographers for the powerful, shield corporations etc.

So if I’m reading this right, the idiot wanted to attack terrorists on Christmas, and basically the whole world said “ok sure grandpa” and with with permission of the Nigerian government we bombed an empty field, nowhere near any actual terrorists. The locals arrived and found no one hurt:

As some may remember, 11 years ago MIT computer scientist Seneff predicted that glyphosate would make 50% of kids autistic by 2025.

My latest on absurd predictions as a key part of pseudoscience, including our current medical establishment.

Well Dr. Stephanie Seneff, 2025 is Over. Did Glyphosate Turn Half of All Children Autistic?
Failed predictions are a key feature of pseudoscience, and much of my writing has documented instances of credentialed academies making bold, confident declarations, only to act like they never happen

Interesting to see someone w/no experience in TV news pull a 60 Minutes story the correspondent said was vetted by lawyers and editors. Wonder if Weiss will ever say exactly why she pulled the story? Or if CBS News new ombudsman will somehow surface? https://loom.ly/SnYFb1w
