What if we screened smarter, not just more?
In BARCODE1, men with high polygenic risk (top 10%) had MRI + biopsy—
40% had prostate cancer.
Over half needed treatment.
Most would’ve been missed by PSA alone.
Genetics is rewriting the rules.

Whatever fraud there is in Medicaid is largely on the provider side, not beneficiaries. It's health insurance, its not cash.

"Fraud" here means going to a doctor if you are unemployed.
Mike Johnson on Medicaid: "What we've talked about is returning work requirements ... you return the dignity of work to young men who need to be out working instead of playing video games all day. We have a lot of fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicaid."

Americans deserve health care that works for them — and instead, the Trump administration is wreaking havoc on seniors, people with disabilities, and our most vulnerable.

Happy to share our new work with @haognguyen on targeting mRNA translation of oncogenes by RNA structure remodeling with a small molecule zotatifin. Congrats to ⁦@DuyguKuzuoglu⁩ an amazing postdoc and all the authors and collaborators!

Small-molecule RNA therapeutics to target prostate cancer
Kuzuoglu-Ozturk et al. showcase a therapeutic approach, “translatome therapy,” to combat lethal prostate cancer. Zotatifin, a clinical molecule, targets the RNA-helicase eIF4A. Zotatifin decreases the select translation of key oncogenes, androgen receptor (AR), and HIF1α through remodeling their 5′ UTR RNA structure. Zotatifin enhances anti-androgen and radiotherapy sensitivity, highlighting a promising anti-cancer treatment.
