honestly does seem like the basic dynamic in american politics right now is that a critical number of voters treat Democrats like their (nagging) mom or their (bitch) wife and treat Republicans like the “cool” dad or husband who is at best a deadbeat

Republicans say that Medicaid is riddled with fraud and that people who should be working, aren’t.

They said the same about the Child Tax Credit.

They’re wrong about both.

BREAKING: HUNDREDS of New Yorkers have swarmed and shut down the Tesla dealer in Manhattan. Six have been arrested after occupying the showroom. Protests are erupting across America to reject Musk's billionaire regime. This is how we beat fascism.

The #DeadPost Editorial Board seems to get it until the end, when it treats Trump's surrender as a failure of etiquette: "The U.S. president should try being as rude to Putin as he was on Friday to Zelensky."

Call your Senators & Reps tomorrow morning, especially the GOP ones, & demand support for Ukraine. Every GOP official needs to be asked if they are behind Trump & believe we should ally with Putin over Zelensky.

Trump and Vance have shamed the nation, all to serve the dictator Putin. The Republican Party no longer exists as anything more than a grovelling gang of lickspittles. Today dawns on an America in disgrace before the eyes of the free world.

You could just feel yesterday how much Trump sincerely wanted to stop people in Ukraine from being killed. You could tell that his only motivation is to stop the bloodshed. It really seemed like his main concern - not his ego, minerals, past grievances, or his love for Putin.

Horrific: One of the USAID programs Trump just terminated was set to deliver lifesaving treatment to hundreds of thousands of starving kids abroad. Much of it is now sitting in a Georgia warehouse.

Rubio's promise to preserve urgent assistance was a lie.
