it's incredible how evangelicalism seems to be evolving into a new religion that has basically little to do with the actual Bible
every time a Nazi shows up with this slogan (or a NRA gun-fetishist), just remind them what Jesus said:

Evangelicalism is rapidly becoming a postmodern religion, where its rhetoric gestures towards a much more hate filled simulacra of the Bible rather than the Bible itself. Which is funny given how much conservatives HATE postmodernism as a concept.

people with high priced degrees from prestigious law schools will spend the next four years telling you the text of the fourteenth amendment does not say what it plainly says.

i want a world where anne hidalgo's climate action and transformative streetscapes become the norm, where vienna's social housing is prevalent, and hamburg's high quality car-light urban districts can be planned and rolled out

hamburg's IBA ran from 2006-2013 - and initiated several small and large scale projects pushing the boundaries on climate adaptation, on car-light living, on communal living, on energy efficiency.
we need to be doing this. and at a massive scale.
