For every $1 the IRS spends auditing the top 1%, it can collect $13.

For every $1 the IRS spends auditing the top 0.1%, it can collect $26.

Laying off 7,000 IRS employees (during tax season) isn't about efficiency.

It's about making it easier for the rich to evade taxes.

The root that tears apart your foundation begins as a seed of distrust, hate, and blame.

The seed that grew into a dictatorship in Europe didn’t arrive overnight.

It started with everyday Germans mad about inflation and looking for someone to blame.

Donald Trump has reportedly spent an estimated $10.7 million worth of taxpayer money to play golf since his inauguration.

This is happening as Head Start programs have struggled to access previously approved federal funding due to the Trump admin's illegal impoundment.

Every day they claim they're finding vast amounts of fraud in the federal government.

Fraud is a crime.

They've made zero criminal complaints.

Odd.

This has always been the GOP's strategy:

1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves.

2) Explode the deficit.

3) Demand cuts to programs that millions of people rely on.

4) Repeat.

Don't let them get away with it.

This former US Atty supports the courage of Danielle Sassoon, the acting US Atty in SDNY, who put service ahead of self & refused to let politics interfere with prosecutions. True American hero. Thank you for your service, Danielle. You are the best of us. Who's with me?
Incredibly proud of her and my old office. Integrity and decency still exist in incredibly hard circumstances. I hope every former US Attorney and DOJ official from both parties support her publicly.
