I felt like rewatching my FLCL dvds today. The nostalgia gets me so emotional I got a little teary eyed just from hearing the music lol.
I had a big argument in high school with a friend who hated FLCL lol. I can hear the soundtrack in my head just thinking this show. Still one of my favorite anime over two decades later. Also the most i ever paid for 2 episodes DVDs. 😅

Not sure if anyone has written about the cancelled at-the-last-minute ghost spinoff of "Last Armageddon" which was to be called "Youkai Hen Kikou" (妖怪変紀行) by Brain Grey. It is rumored that it was cancelled because of copyright concerns from the art being so similar to legend Shigeru Mizuki #pc98

It's a shame, but posting at the time about the GenAI posters and lamenting their existence and the missed opportunity for worldbuilding left a sour taste in my mouth and brought my playthrough of Clair Obscur to a sputtering halt.
The nagging concern they only replaced them when found out.

"contractors did it" "it was an asset they bought they didn't know" "They patched it out it's fine" "it was just one rogue artist" or the ever present "who cares" when something they love is attacked

Magic Knight Rayearth for the Saturn was one of those games I looked at in magazines that made me wish I had a Saturn. When I got one many years later, it was one of the first games I imported! Gorgeous visuals and fun action RPG. I had also played the fan-translated Snes game.
