While I know Oregon is generally a blue state, those of us who live here see the dangerous red dots in our own backyard. Seeing folks come together in my little area made me cry. That togetherness gave me hope. We can do this if we don't give up ✊🏻
While all of the images from the hands off protests are incredible, I keep going back and looking at the crowds in small rural towns across America.
There are so many blue dots in those red seas, and witnessing them come together and organize is giving me a lot of hope.
