Also, not the point of the article, but Africana Studies sounds pretty fun.

I talk about James Weldon Johnson, and Gwendolyn Brooks, and Charles Chestnutt, and Nella Larsen, and Hortense Spillers, and a good deal else and I mean… would you listen to how pathetic that all sounds?

Yeah, anyone who thinks that's basic is bound to be disappointed. On the other end of the spectrum, Babet makes a good point.

One good thing about it getting dark earlier is the fire spinners have a solid two hours to party in the park.
