Video from today's powerful rally by Tanggol Migrante, La Resistencia, and many others in supporters of Zahid Chaudry, Filipino detainees, and everyone illegally held at the Northwest Detention Center. Hundreds of folks from across the NW were there speaking truth to power.

1/3) I joined workers and immigrants today to celebrate Labor Day in the best way you can, with songs, chanting, food, and solidarity. The morning started with about 50 of us at the annual Ralph Chaplin memorial sing along, celebrating the life of the great labor songwriter buried here in Tacoma.

1/3) I joined workers and immigrants today to celebrate Labor Day in the best way you can, with songs, chanting, food, and solidarity. The morning started with about 50 of us at the annual Ralph Chaplin memorial sing along, celebrating the life of the great labor songwriter buried here in Tacoma.
So All My Friends and North American Scum are my forever faves, and I love basically all of American Dream. But this new jam was so infectious that I can't get it out of my head. X-Ray Eyes!

It only took seeing LCD Soundsystem 3.5 times before getting to hear North American Scum. But it was oh so worth the wait. And on 808 day, to boot.
