Despite having an office of hundreds of attorneys, Ken Paxton is frequently opting for private lawyers — many to whom he has personal or political ties — to argue on behalf of Texas.

One attorney cost taxpayers more than $24,000 for a day’s work.

No, Justice Kavanaugh, it's not the "interim" docket.

Yes, Justice Kavanaugh, I would like you to answer for the consequences of your votes — especially when those consequences come from a vote on what you claim is the "interim" docket.

No, you don't have to answer.

Yes, I'll keep asking.
100 days of Kavanaugh stops and the justices who silently allowed them — and a bill to change that
The Shadow Docket Sunlight Act is being introduced on Wednesday. And, Justice Kavanaugh still isn't saying if he's having second thoughts on his September opinion.

Since the end of the Cold War, democrats have created 50M jobs and republicans have created 1M.
The Republican propaganda that Trump “inherited” a bad economy from Biden and is making it better is the exact opposite of true. The numbers don’t lie and people know what they are experiencing.

The US Administration has banned Americans from *adopting babies* from much of the African continent.

Adopting.

Babies.

What trait do those babies have that, when they grow up as fully American adults, would make them a threat to our country in any form?
On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.
