If you were to buy a 10 track album via Bandcamp for £13. Post fees, for the artist, that's the equivalent of streaming all 10 tracks, on Spotify, every day, for a year

But Spotify would pay the artist £0, as 365 streams per track doesn't reach their threshold of 1,000

So, you know, go to Bandcamp

Record label Basin Rock are selling a lot of their vinyl for a tenner so if you’re into folk, wyrd folk and out there singer songwriters give them a go.

Here’s a glorious rendition of Hamish Henderson’s “Freedom Come-All-Ye”, sung by Karine Polwart in the Italian Chapel, Orkney. The chapel was built & decorated by Italian POWs during WW2 using scraps & reclaimed materials, & is still in use today
