Your immune system isn't a Tamagotchi that dies if you don't play with it.

"Immunity debt" is a marketing term to make you blame yourself instead of bad policy.

Getting sick constantly isn't normal — it’s a public health failure.

Yesterday, I uploaded the ISO image of one of the rarest videogames known to exist, of which a single copy is known to exist in the online world. After years of appeals, its owner finally agreed to share it with me so that I could in turn share it with the world.

I wasn't on Bluesky yet when I made it, having shown this off over on mastodon last year.

Last July I tried to recreate a dish from the game @blueprincegame.bsky.social ! Which was the Country Stew!

It was the smallest carrot I could find.

Today on I make dinner but also want to make something cute, I've made the wood-fired pizza from #BluePrince ! Complete with truffle sauce, spiced salami (...well, turkey pepperoni for personal reasons), fontina cheese, wee portabella mushrooms, and two fresh basil leaves!

When you bought something so long ago you don't remember buying one of your favourite game soundtracks but you gleefully accept the treat from your past self.

From 1989 to 1993, FM Towns issued a number of freeware discs - including a pair for the Marty - whose covers consisted entirely of clay sculptures. Though not videogames per se, these exist in a space that is adjacent enough to the subject of this thread to deserve a mention.

Japanese game cover design is widely admired by players, a true craft they have perfected over the years. In an effort to make their product stand out, many studios explored a more tactile range of materials. The resulting effect is as amusing today as it is instantly nostalgic.🧵

Les gens d'avant, ni honnêtes ni droits ni rien.

One of the joys of exploring older games is how finding them, making them run & playing them is already an adventure.

Like, I got stuck in a puzzle in Brány Skeldalu. But there's no walkthrough in English, I had to use this ancient, tiny & crusty map in Czech.

Every game becomes Blue Prince lol

Blue Prince restera un moment dans mon top 5. Il est vraiment rare qu'un jeu occupe aussi longtemps mes pensées.
