“Travel is fatal to prejudice.” - Mark Twain.

I am just a fellow traveler on this giant blue marble hoping empathy, listening, and honest discourse help us help one another. Life is not a zero-sum game.

There was a clip the other day, not Xi but some other Chinese official. Said "Yes, we made money off USA. Then invested it in our people. Education. Science. Etc. USA made money too. Then gave it all to a handful of people to hoard while society crumbled" (paraphrasing) It was an eloquent fuck off.🤣

There is no bottom. As I said from the beginning - Trump permits people to be their worst.
It still boggles my mind that so many people couldn't grasp last year how significantly more morally depraved a second Trump term would be in comparison to the first. And how so many people still can't comprehend that our national crisis isn't about politics, but simple morality.

So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

I am sounding the alarm that the GOP is engaged in an all out attack voting rights and free and fair elections. Voter suppression, gerrymandering, and troops in blue cities are just some of the ways they are using to try to rig the rules to keep power in 2026 and beyond.

Pay attention and act!

We’re in a moment now where it would be worth people taking three hours to watch Gandhi, particularly the scene of the salt march. There is value to making the brutality of your opponent so plain as day that no one can argue with it. The clarity of that brought down an empire

This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

So sad that we have to tell the world that the MAGA delusional alternative reality is a lie.
"We’re all in favor of a gold standard for science. But it’s misleading, & even a little insulting, to say that somehow NIH didn’t already support that. Everything that NIH stands for is rigor in sci...There’s some implication here that NIH has been systematically sloppy. I reject that conclusion."🛟

There is no moral equivalence between bullies and the bullied, between tyranny and democracy, or between brutality and decency. No individual can be free in a society devoid of justice. There can be no liberty where brutality reigns.
