And look I also get the feeling of anger at people seemingly focusing on controversy over the actual substance of the criticisms.

But to say that Anne doesn't support rape victims simply because she said Death Threats are bad, is ridiculous and hyperbolic.

Again, your criticisms are legitimate, and I'm sorry that a character you found so much love and power in was misused and mutated in a way that hurt you.

But, there is no excuse for death threats.

No one is dismissing the trauma of rape victims.

Death threats need to be called out.

If you wanna have an honest conversation about this comic then that shit needs to get shut down asap.

I've seen movements that just let death threats slide because it's being made against the other side, and those movements rot from the inside out real fast.

1. I am truly sorry that happened to you. You're anger at the story is justified and criticisms are valid.

2. You are putting a lot of words in Anne's mouth. Anne's not saying there are not valid criticisms. She is merely saying, Death Threats are not okay, regardless of context.

Are there legit criticisms to be had? Absolutely.
