A parallel is Jeff Bezos, who ended the WaPo’s 40-year practice of endorsing presidential candidates. Not hard to draw the line between Trump’s threats of retribution against Amazon/WaPo and Bezos’s questionable last-minute decision just prior to a deadlocked election.
Sadly, Brian’s reporting is correct. Over the past week I heard from two entirely separate very reliable sources, with some vivid detail, that they are absolutely terrified of Trump.

I certainly believe in the importance of diversity in the marketplace of ideas. It is very concerning, however, to think that the owner of a social media site is putting his thumb on the scale in favor of one (toxic) political ideology.

This will be a true test of loyalty for Republican senators to DJT. Time will tell whether Gaetz is a bridge too far. If so, it will be a rare occurrence for a party that has otherwise become a cult of personality.
