Pay per mile car taxing has to be for all cars otherwise EVs alone will have extra admin overhead which will put people off (yes, people are that lazy). Reduce the petrol/diesel tax to account for the difference, ensuring heavy polluters still get stung the most.

@gitlab please add an option to load all of the files in a diff (rather than loading on demand when you scroll down). As it is, it's almost impossible to find where code is used because ctrl+F only searches the loaded files.

Electric cars are better in almost every way than combustion cars. The only remaining thing that lets them down is range and in the next few years there will be production cars with greater range than any diesel currently on the market. No politician can stop the demise of combustion vehicles.
