This is so stupid, but was supposed to have people coming over tonight, which led to a frenzied rush to clean my apartment, but everyone understandably canceled because of the snow. Now I'm overwhelmingly sad and feel lonely.

I generally like my job, but lately things have been stressful and have had some negative feelings about my team lead. Today was pretty rough and was very tempted to rage quit but have resisted the urge so far because I have to be financially responsible, I guess.

One thing Democratic leadership could do right now is to name an alternate HHS secretary--someone to provide ongoing public updates and health information. And do it for other departments too. Start showing voters what a Democratic government would look like--press conferences, speeches, all of it.
