Silent finds comfort in escapism, mainly through reading and writing. As such, he's built a fairly decent library in the basement of his home. It's his private escape to avoid crowds and recharge, though there are a few friends who have the run of the place as well.

Follow EQ2's example of each plot allowing players to get their own instance they can enter and customize. It doesn't really allow for visible variation unless you enter said instance, but it seems to solve the scarcity issue. EQ2 also allows for resizing of furnishings, which i would be all for.

Silent vastly prefers tea, but he will if he needs to. If so, it's usually mixed with cocoa to mask the taste somewhat.

Silent isn't a spring chicken anymore, and he was never social. Sometimes, if his friends are having a celebration, he'll spend some time there. More often of late he prefers quiet solitude and a book or an orchestrian roll to mentally de-clutter and contemplate the upcoming year.

Knowing this, he never puts himself in a position to be in charge of anyone else's money. He's seen how Tataru is, especially with Estinien.
