I agree with this sentiment - I think Albo has been calm and measured in contrast to some hysteria from the combined right wing media and opposition.
Well I think @albomp.bsky.social is doing a good job. He’s giving us calm, considered leadership at a time when hearts are breaking, hounds are mindlessly braying and the far right is doing its best to divide us.

The Libs are weaponising the tragedy. It is a disgrace. And many of the community most tragically affected by the events of last Sunday are themselves, immigrants.

I wish to offer my own condolences to Jewish groups in Australia and around the world for the horrendous attack that happened yesterday in Bondi. I believe all thinking Australians want to live in a harmonious multicultural country that brings the richness of diversity to us all. Sympathy. #Bondi

I find it fascinating watching Aussies sitting in a prosperous, functional, well-governed country with an unglamorous but adequate government, and somehow managing to direct their hatred against these things, rather than focusing on shitheads like Dutton/Joyce/Hanson who are trying to destroy it
